WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

Come into my parlor, said the Spider to the Fly

Yup. This is it. My site, in all it's glory. I think I'm getting teary-eyed. Ah, how I loathe this stupid computer and all its modern day technological advances, give me a stick and a spot of dirt anyday ...we take far too much for granted this day and age, although surprisingly not ourselves ...the level of self-deprecation has risen significantly since man has become aware ...hmm, coincidence? I think not.

Well ...*cough cough, e-heh e-heh* I'm back.  Unfortunately, I'm a wee bit too busy to give this site the overhaul it deserves, poor thing.  Between hanging out with the cast of 'Changes' in drama - which I sadly can't be a part of - and working on my forensics piece, and then with Drivers starting for me ...uh, well, tomorrow, and then homework ...especially geometry (mom doesn't like me getting a progress notice telling her I currently have a 'D' grade) which, I should be getting help with, if Paul isn't too overworked already with pretty much the same stuff as me, except he already has his license - but he has a job to deal with, and I don't envy him that.  Hopefully though, I'll be able to get all the pictures I have up over Spring Break at the end of March ...the 29th I think, and there's a whole bunch of new poetry and such to be added, including a poem gone missing.  Other than this page however, there's not much new ...in fact, this is the only thing changed.  *giggles again* Ah well, I like multi-tasking ...life just keeps on getting better and better, I tell ya!

Put up a new link, my pen name there is Aldrean Treu Peri, I'll be giving the whole site an update before too long. That's all for now folks!

Uh, hehe, so I lied a bit ...I prefer the term 'flexed the truth' actually, but, whatever.  Yes, yes, I know that I promised an update soon last year ...but life is busy, and frankly, boo hoo, I don't really care at the moment, lol.  I'm in a pleasant mood, a rose to all!  Oh, and a hearty thanks to my friends, who know me better than anyone should ever have to, and probably better than I know myself.  Mmm, also, I greatly appreciate the concern from a certain 'cowboy'.  The bat idea isn't a bad one ...although, I think it would be easier if I just walked in the daylight hours and got a ride at other times, but whatever, I'm a big girl, I should be able to take care of myself.  As much as I like attention, I'm not a terribly big fan of that sort of attention and, in fact, it really unnerves me.  *shivers* Anyway ...thank you all, and I *will* update this before school lets out for summer vacation, I promise!

A poem in response to my poems, written by Jenn Val the Valiant!

Well, you must forgive me
I didn't read all of the Sailor Moon stories
Having a lack of background knowledge
And I'm quite easily confused anyway
But the rest of your
"Binder o' Artistry"
Was very entertaining
Amazing
And wonderful

* Plus it gave me something to distract me from the errant teacher's ramblings!*

She said 'thank you' to Chuck ...but I'm John and Ryan is Chuck, so I don't quite understand, lol. I'm 'M' which is like 'The Big A' only better! Wheee!

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

La la la, doesn't this site rock? Ha, am I fooling you? Some guy once said this about T.V. " ... a vast wasteland ... " The way I figure it, doesn't this apply to the internet as well?

Well, damn. I guess America isn't quite the haven we had all hoped and relied upon. About time we started to acknowledge the threats facing other parts of the world - namely Ireland and Israel - but I do wish it didn't have to come to this for us to notice that terrorism could and does happen everywhere and to everyone. I would like to express my deepest condolences towards those directly affected by the events of the past few days, and the days to follow, and I would like to extend my sympathies to the rest of America, her citizens and the world as we recover from the shock of this tragedy. Should some eternal paradise exist beyond this world and life, I hope that the souls of those who perished will be sheltered there and I hope that the rest of us here will be no less guarded by The Powers That Be. Hugs, kisses and handkerchiefs to all, much love as we share our sorrow.
